WIP/Meia The Balllerina Felt Doll Pattern

Meia The Ballerina was inspired by a beautiful little girl name Meia age 3 1/2 who loves to dance and be on stage, and is awaiting to be registered in dance class pictured below.

Meia The Ballerina felt doll pattern is jointed at the elbows and knees and measures 7 3/4" high when completed. Her hair is simply embroidery floss wrapped around a dowel with styling gel...how easy is that. As a gift from me to you I will post a short picture tutorial on how to make the eyes and mouth so you can see how easy it is to make.

She's available here on my blog as a pattern for sale or on my etsy shop . I"m also creating Jazzy The Jazz Dancer inspired by my 13 year old niece who has been in dance school from the age of 5 years old. I will post a picture of my lovely niece who thinks she's so grown. A Bunka doll in felt [Japanese doll] and a mother daugther felt doll is also in progress. So get ready for another speady giveaway when I have all the felt doll patterns completed, then you'll have a choice of choosing a pattern...this is so much fun keeping everyone in suspense.

Isn't she just adorable. She is the great-granddaughter to a close friend of mine.

Little House And The Fairy Felt Pattern

This is the latest addition to the felt family.

The House measures about 5 5/8 inches high, 4 3/16 inches depth, and 5 5/8 Inches wide when completed. The lovely fairy doll is only 4 inches tall when completed. Although this appears to be intricate it's really simple to make. It's available here on my blog to purchase or on my etsy shop.

I have a lovely Ballerina and Jazz Dancer felt doll in the making.

All the furniture and doll fits nicely inside for storage.

Wooden Dollhouse Is Coming Along

I've hand-painted the door, leaves, flowers, and bricks thus far.

I'll be working on the interior when I complete the exterior.

This lovely wood was made by A. Peter Lugo a very dear and close friend of mine. He asked me to hand-paint it for his daughter Camille.

I also hand-painted this for his granddaughter who's is graduating from High School.

WIP/ Dollhouse

I crossed path's with a lovely man who's been doing carpentry and architectural work for 40 years. He was kind enough to teach me the basics. He helped me built the house above...it's not perfect but it's a start. It's a new beginning to many more to come.

I've been creating with cardboard since I was a little girl. I created a Barbie doll dresser with removeable draws when I was a little girl among other things. I enjoy creating.

This house is made with felt and cardboard for stability. The house opens so I will be making a doll and some furniture to complete this house. This will be another pattern for sale.

The ribbon is to close the front of house.

Sneak Preview Of A Crochet Mini Doll Living Room Furniture And A 5" Mini Crochet Doll

This crochet furniture pattern will be available soon to download. It fits 5" - 5 1/2" dolls. I especially made this furniture for the 5" inch crochet dolls you see in the picture. Since the dolls are a variation of Beth Webber's Mini Free Spirit crochet dolls I was given permission to post the variation's so you can also create the 5" crochet dolls. I will post it after I finished the crochet pattern for a bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom.

Psst...Look What You Can Do With A 5dollar Second Hand Jewelry Box

I bought this jewelry box for only five dollars and it's a music box as well.

I know it's been awhile since I've posted. first my laptop went out of commission for about a month. I had to replace the motherboard twice. I'm also going back and forth to court pending an eviction...I'm a bit burned out and overwhelmed that I've started to develop a bit of migraine headaches. I'm doing the best I can...I can use lots of positive prayers from all of you.

Enough of  that disappointing news...let's get back to arts and crafts.

It has three extra draws in the inside.

I took off all the handles. Then I sanded down the whole  jewelry box.

I used CLR to get rid of all the gook that was on all the handles.

I began to paint it with acrylic paint.

I started to build on decor painting.

I finally added the flowers.

Viola!

I can also use this as a big piece of furniture for a doll that's the right scale for this jewelry box size.
